This is Mrs. Goddard's 12th year as a Loudoun County Public School teacher. Eleven of those years have been here at Stone Bridge High School. She was part of the SBHS charter staff from 2000 to 2004, and then taught one year at Mercer Middle School. She returned to SBHS in the fall of 2012.
Her passion for teaching started when she was in high school when she had the opportunity to be part of a program similar to the teacher cadet program here at SBHS. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Education at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, and then a master's degree in Special Education at George Mason University.
A personal note from Mrs. Goddard to Parents:
"I truly value my education, and I continue to learn about best pracitices for teaching all students, espically students with disabilities. However, I am also the parent of a child with an intellectual disability. She has taught me more than any textbook or training program ever could. I have sat on both sides of the "IEP table", and know how hard both teachers and parents/guardians work for students with disabilities. Your child is in good hands!"
Let's have a great year, Bulldogs!
