    • My Dad, who recently turned 90 years young, continues to assist my brother in running their 5th generation farming operation of rice, walnuts, pears, and land-leveling in Northern California.  My father served as a school board member for several years as well as county supervisor.  He and my late mother were married for 55 years.

    ·   California State University, Sacramento – Coursework completion for certification of California Licensure of Professional Clear Specialist Instruction Credential as Learning Specialist - 1995

    ·   George Mason University – Master of Education in Education Leadership – 2004;          Certificate in Special Education Leadership (Doctoral Level, 15 credits) - 2011

    HOBBIES:  Supporting our three children in their many activities, staying fit (well, I try!), playing the piano, planting flowers, volunteering in the community, and have recently picked up the game of golf.  Whew! ... I love golf! :)
