• Supplies needed for Language Arts with Mrs. O'Brien 
    1 "Just-Right" independent reading book every day (and another one "waiting in the wings" for when you finish). We will enjoy a "Book Tasting" and a lesson on "Choosing a Just-Right Book" before this is a requirement.
    1 composition book (we will call this the workshop notebook in class--keep it in front pocket of your binder)

    1 folder with pockets (for use as Language Arts only homework folder)
    1 binder (1.5 inches) - with 5 dividers - we will label each in class. 
    1 pack of loose leaf paper - wide ruled preferably - to be stored within binder
    1 spiral notebook - keep in locker (labeled Language Arts) until asked to bring to class)
    3 different colored highlighters  (keep in a supply case to travel with you from class to class)
    1 blue/black pen (keep in supply case)

    1 pair of earbuds (keep in supply case)
    2 dozen sharpened (Ticonderoga preferred) (keep a few in a supply case to travel with you from class to class; store the rest in locker)
    1 glue stick (keep in supply case)
    3 packs of 3x3 sticky notes (any color but lighter colors preferred) - store one in locker, keep one in supply case for reader's workshop, donate one to class collection.
    1 black Sharpie - store in supply case
    1 pack of colored pencils - store in supply case
