• Kelly Green - Reading Specialist

    Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! This is Ms. Green's 27th year of teaching and she's excited about becoming a Mustang! Prior to joining the Simpson family as a reading specialist, she was a reading specialist at Creighton's Corner Elementary for 10 years. She was also a classroom teacher in Loudoun County, Montgomery County and the City of Philadelphia. 

    Ms. Green has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English from the State University of New York College at Fredonia.  She has a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and a Reading Specialist endorsement from Shenandoah University.  

    Ms. Green enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has three children and a chocolate lab named Cody. She is very excited about being at Simpson Middle School!
