Hello all, my name is Alyssa Dabbenigno. I am one of the three Physical Education teachers here at Cardinal Ridge Elementary. I graduated from East Carolina University (Go PIRATES!) with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Physical Education PreK-12. I have both a Virginia and a North Carolina Teaching License. I am going into my 6th year teaching in LCPS and third year at Cardinal Ridge- I will be one of the FULL TIME teachers here at CRE!

I am also a lacrosse coach in the county as well a coach for 2 travel lacrosse clubs in the DMV area. In my spare time (when I have any!) I enjoy going to the gym, relaxing on the beach, and cheering on the PIRATE NATION, Philadelphia EAGLES, and Washington CAPITALS!

I am very excited and look forward to a wonderful school year full of fun activities that encourage lifelong fitness and learning!!
