My name is Caroyl Massullo and I am excited to begin another year at Liberty Elementary! I have dedicated my life to the teaching profession and am proud to be called a teacher. My goal is to help your child become the best student that they can be by providing an enviornment that is rich in learning experiences. My classroom is filled with materials and opportunities. I also use music, movement and authentic activities to enhance learning.
I graduated from West Virginia University with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education. I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade and love working with children this age. I believe that the metamorphosis from dependent to independent learner is magical!
I taught for six years in West Virginia after graduation, then moved to Virginia. Once in Virginia, I taught nine years in Winchester before coming to Loudoun County Public Schools. I have previously taught kindergarten at Catoctin Elementary and first grade at Emerick Elementary and Banneker Elementary. This will be my 6th year at Liberty!
I live in Winchester, Virginia (apple country) and have three children and a dog named Maggie. My husband Marc is a physical education teacher and my son Jonathan is an art teacher. I love to swim and be outdoors. I enjoy music of all types and attend as many concerts and musical performances possible. When I begin to see the school supplies in stores, I get excited about the thought of school beginning again. I look forward to meeting each and every parent and the opportunity to assist your family. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. GO eagles!
