Degrees and Certifications:
I am excited to begin my 19th year in Loudoun County and sixth year as principal and Dominion Trail Husky. I previously was the assistant principal at Emerick Elementary, Pinebrook Elementary and Arcola Elementary. Before I became an administrator, I was a fourth grade teacher for four years, third grade teacher for one year and a fifth grade teacher for one year. I attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania for my undergraduate work in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. I later attended Shenandoah University where I received my Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision. Currently, I live in Round Hill, Virginia with my wife Cory (who is a preschool teacher at Round Hill Elementary), our daughter Zoe (13 years old), son Tommy (11 years old), my son Will (8 year old), my son Nathaniel "Nate" (6 years old), and our dog Finley "Finn". I grew up in a small town about 10 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, PA (GO STEELERS, PENS, and BUCCO'S!), called Leetsdale and have been in Virginia since 2000. I make frequent trips to Pittsburgh to visit friends and family. I have an older brother, Jimmy, who lives in Fairfax with his wife and daughters, Jenna, Brooke, and Leah. My parents have recently retired to Florida where both of their golf games are improving.
I look forward to working with all of the stakeholders at Dominion Trail Elementary. Go Huskies!!!
