Physical Education Department 




    Welcome Back Sharks! Mr. Jones is beginning his 14th year as a Health and Physical Education teacher, 12th in Loudoun County.  He is originally from western Pennsylvania.  Mr. Jones has a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science/Gerontology from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and a Master's of Education in Health and Physical Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In his free time, Mr. Jones loves to run marathons.  He has completed 70+ marathons all over the US.  When he is not running, he is spending time with his wife and two daughters. 


    This is Mrs. Martin's 18th year teaching Physical Education, and 11th year at Moorefield Station. She has a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education from Slippery Rock University, and a master's degree in Physical Education from West Virginia University. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher. Mrs. Martin grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Leesburg, Virginia. In her free time she loves staying active and spending time with her family. Her children Miles and Mary also attend Moorefield Station. Mrs. Martin is looking forward to another great year in PE!

    Hey Sharks! Ms. Chavez is excited to begin her 8th year of teaching, 6th year with Moorefield Station. Ms. Chavez has her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Health and Physical Education from Longwood University. Go Lancers!  When she is not busy teaching or coaching, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, riding her bike, and traveling. GO SHARKS! Always keep swimming!
