• This is my eighth year at Smart’s Mill Middle School and I am very proud to be part of its staff and to be teaching Geometry this year. I look forward to a successful school year 2019/20 for my students!

After working for 18 years in the investment banking industry in Germany and the United States I decided to change careers and get licensed as a teacher for middle and high school mathematics because I like working with and teaching young people.

I love sports and am a fan of the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, the Washington Redskins and Bayern Munich (German soccer). When I am not teaching or thinking about the next lesson plan, I like to read, run or spend time with my wife, three children and our dog, Fiona.
