•  Leonard “Lenny” Granda has been teaching America Sign Language for the past 10 years. Mr. Granda is entering his seventh year teaching American Sign Language in Loudoun County. This year Mr. Granda teaches mainly at Freedom High School and one class at Dominion High School. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Gallaudet University and a Master’s degree in Education of the Deaf from San Diego State University. Prior to teaching at Loudoun County, Mr. Granda has taught at San Diego State University, The College of the Holy Cross, The Learning Center for Deaf Children, and various community colleges. Mr. Granda is also a current adjunct faculty at North Virginia Community College, Annandale Campus. Currently Mr. Granda is a doctorate student at Lamar University pursuing his doctorate of education in Deaf Studies / Deaf Education.
