    Ms. Sinclair joined the staff of Dominion High School in 2010-2011 as the ELL department chair. A teacher for twenty-two years, she has specialized in teaching students to become more expressive and more confident writers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of North Texas and has done graduate work in writing and education at UNT and George Mason. The author of a screenplay, poems, and short stories, Ms. Sinclair's published works can be found in The Green Fuse and The Elk River Review.
    Previously, she taught at Park View High School in Sterling, and at The Colony High School and Hebron High School, both in suburbs north of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, where her classes included Practical Writing, AP English, Gifted & Talented English/Humanities, English 9, 10, 11, & 12, Creative Writing, Science Fiction, Reading, SAT Prep, and TAKS (Texas state test) Review. Her areas of Virginia licensure are ELL, English, Earth & Space Science, and Gifted Education.
    Ms. Sinclair holds membership in several education-related organizations, including ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) and EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association).
