Sandra Harvey
I have been teaching in Loudoun County for 25 years and have spent 15 of those as a Reading Specialist here at RLC. I earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading from State University of New York College at Fredonia. During my time in Loudoun County, I have taught first grade in addition to Title I Reading. I really love working with the wonderful RLC students, staff and community to support literacy. I always look forward to watching students grow in confidence and excitement as they become successful life-long readers.

Sarah Brewer
I am a native upstate New Yorker and moved to northern Virginia after earning my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2004. While I was a classroom teacher, I realized that my passion was literacy; reading and writing. In 2013, I graduated from George Mason University with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction along with a Reading Endorsement. I have taught in LCPS for over 18 years and have worked with children of all ages, but spent most of my time as a kindergarten and second grade teacher at Cedar Lane Elementary School. In 2015, I joined the RLC staff, as a Reading Specialist to support staff and students with reading and writing initiatives. I am absolutely thrilled to be a Rosa Lee Carter Coyote and love to share my love of literacy with the students, staff and families in the RLC community!
