           Steve Barham is starting his fourth year at PVHS after spending the previous 18 at Seneca Ridge. Mr. Barham earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Middle Grades Education minor from James Madison University in 1994, a Masters of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech in 2001, and a Masters of Arts in English - Teaching Writing and Literature from George Mason University in 2008. 
           Mr. Barham is a Teacher-Consultant for the Northern Virginia Writing Project after completing the NVWP Summer Institute in 2005.  Additionally, Mr. Barham was Seneca Ridge's nominee for the Agnes Meyer Teacher of the Year Award and co-winner of the Thunder Award given by the PTO in 2012-13. 

        

    Extra help is available before school most days from 8:15 until the school day begins.

To do so send me an email at steven.barham@lcps.org, and I can cut and paste the email address you wish to use to join the class; I will send the classroom code to you at that time as well. Your son or daughter also has the code on the syllabus distributed at the start of the year.
