• Welcome!  This is Sra. Sozzi's eighth year teaching Spanish.  Before teaching in LCPS, she taught FLES in Fairfax County to 400 students in grade levels K-6.
Sra. Sozzi had diverse jobs and degrees before settling into a teaching career.  She started with a B.A. in Business, worked in corporate, government, and non-profit jobs, received an M.A. in English (focus on literature), and is now happily teaching Spanish.
Though she was born here, her entire family is from Argentina.  Growing up in a struggling immigrant family and trying to find her identity within a bicultural experience (Argentinean family, U.S. society) is something that helps Sra. Sozzi be a better teacher for all of her students.
On a personal note, Sra. Sozzi LOVES hanging out in the children's section of Barnes and Noble, reading picture books and drinking coffee!  One of her favorite recently published picture books is "Stuck" by Oliver Jeffers.
Feel free to email her with any questions at:  eugenia.sozzi@lcps.org
