Mrs. Ramey

Mrs. Ramey is so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Catoctin! This will be Mrs. Ramey's ninth year teaching and has taught third, fourth, and fifth grade. She previously taught in Fairfax and Prince William county and now calls Leesburg her home. Mrs. Ramey is a proud Radford University alumni and has a master's degree in curriculum and instruction and a bachelor's degree in elementary education. 

She lives with her husband and two dogs, Sara (who is a sweet Pitbull/Retriever mix) and Oliver (who is a VERY energetic Golden Retriever puppy). She was born and raised in Woodbridge, VA. When she is not teaching, she enjoys visiting with family, running, reading, and exploring new recipes! 

Some fun facts about Mrs. Ramey: She is left-handed, enjoys rereading Harry Potter, and loves to teach mathematics (especially division!) 

Mrs. Ramey is looking forward to creating memories and having an amazing year of growth with her fourth grade students!
