• Potomac Falls High School now has a chapter of the National Technical Honor Society. Mr. Onda is the chapter advisor and sponsor. Jack Gibney is the chapter president.

    In order to be considered for membership, you must:

    • Have completed or are in the process of completing the second course in a completer sequence as defined by the Office of Career and Technical Education at the Virginia Department of Education in courses designated as Career and Technical Education courses at Potomac Falls High School or other traditional high school (if you have transferred to Potomac Falls High School).
      • Courses taken at the Academies of Loudoun are not considered for membership in the Potomac Falls chapter of NTHS because the Academies of Loudoun has its own chapter of NTHS for their students.
    • Be currently enrolled in an elective course at Potomac Falls HS that falls into a category of career and technical education as defined by the National Technical Honor Society.
      • Courses required for graduation, such as Economics and/or Personal Finance, do not qualify as they are not elective courses.
    • Have an overall unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
    • Have an overall grade point average in your Career and Technical Education courses of 3.0 or higher
    • Have no grade in a Career and Technical Education course of less than a B.
    • If you are a sophomore, you are eligible to join in the 2nd semester of your sophomore year as long as you are enrolled in the 2nd course of a CTE completer sequence at PFHS and have a 1st semester grade of A or B in that course.

    Applications for membership can be submitted using this form. The application deadline is Friday, February 16, 2024.
