Ms. Elizabeth Alger

Hello Timberwolves!  My name is Elizabeth Alger and I am so excited to be a part of the sixth-grade English team!  The 2023-2024 school year will be my sixteenth year in education but my second year with TMS! Last year I taught 8th grade English.

Prior to joining Trailside Middle School, I was an Instructional Technology Coach in Winchester City for three years.  Before that, I spent eleven years in the classroom teaching second, fourth, fifth, eighth, and now sixth grades.  I believe that building relationships with my students is key to their success.  Additionally, I believe that real-world applications and how all the subjects intercept one another is imperative to them understanding why the topics and subjects they are learning are important for their everyday lives.
