This will be Mrs. Franks' 21st year in education.  Since graduating from the University of Virginia with her Masters of Teaching, she has worked with students in grades Pre-K through 6th both as a classroom teacher and as an instructional coach, supporting reading and math instruction.

Mrs. Franks lives in Leesburg with her husband Mike, daughter Kendall, aged 9, son Kieran, aged 4. and two dogs.  Outside of school, Mrs. Franks  enjoys hiking, reading, soccer, and traveling.  

Mrs. Franks is looking forward to another wonderful year in Kindergarten at Catoctin!
