Dr. Amy G. Carroll
Mr. Tyler Cabatic
Ms. Elena Lam
Ms. Imani Hagans
I am thrilled to work with Robey students, families, counselors and educators as the Director of School Counseling. I come to Robey with twenty years of counseling, teaching, researching, and writing experience, including the last five years as a school counselor at Park View High School and adjunct professor at George Mason University. I also serve as the Assistant Chair for the Virginia School Counselor Association.
In my free time I love reading, exercising, hiking, and laughing with my friends and family.
Our counseling team is here to help Robey students discover their strengths, achieve academic success, and make meaningful contributions to the world. We are thrilled to serve you and look forward to our journey together this year!

Hello! My name is Tyler Cabatic and I am your school counselor here at Robey High School. Prior to joining the counseling team at Robey, I was a school counselor at Manassas Park High School in Manassas Park, Virginia.
Outside of school, I serve on the board for the Virginia Alliance for School Counseling (VASC), where I have the privilege of amplifying the voices of school counselors across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking national parks, attending concerts, driving my Jeep, tending to house plants (yes, I am a proud plant dad), and gathering around a fire with friends and family.
As your school counselor, I look forward to supporting you in navigating challenges, as well as celebrating in your successes. My door is always open, so please drop by to say hello, get support, or share exciting news. I am looking forward to getting to know you this school year.
