Ms. Kelly Baker

Hello Trailside students and families!

This will be my third year at Trailside, and I am so excited to be back!! 

My goal is to be a resource and a link between the school, students, families, and the community at Trailside. I work alongside teachers, counselors, and admin to fully support every student's academic, social, and emotional needs.  I am passionate about working with students to help empower and strengthen their skills to support their own social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. I also know the importance of being mindful of the intersecting systems and factors that affect each student in their lives outside of school.  

I received my Bachelor's of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and my Masters of Social Work from George Mason University. In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks with my dog, reading books, and spending time with family and friends!
