6th, 7th & 8th Grade SOLs in May
All students (100% distance learners and hybrid learners) will take the SOL on Mondays in May. SOLs must be administered in a secure testing environment which means students will come into the building. Bus transportation will be provided, or parents may drop off students.
- May 3: Reading (All 6th, 7th & 8th graders)
- May 10: Science (All 8th graders) and Math (All 6th graders)
- May 17: Math (All 7th & 8th graders)
The test starts at 8:30am and ends at 11:30am.
Arrival to School:
Car riders and walkers will enter the B-8 entrance on the left side of the school. Note that this entrance will not open until 8:15am. Click HERE to view the Student Drop Off Map. Cars should not enter the bus parking lot to drop students off at the main entrance. If your student is a bus rider, you will receive a separate email with specific bus information.
Your student should wear a mask and practice social distancing while at school. Before leaving home on testing day, the LCPS Covid-19 Symptom Checker must be completed. You can access the QR code on our school website or click HERE to access the Symptom Checker Questionnaire.
What your student should bring to the test:
**Students must bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger**
