Mrs. Stuit

Welcome Cougars! My name is Jolene Stuit (sounds like “Stite”) and I am a charter member of the Countryside Staff. I have been a Teaching Assistant here at Countryside since we opened the doors in 2003. Before coming to Countryside, I taught Preschool for 3 years, ran a private home daycare while raising my own children and worked for many years in Accounting and Bookkeeping.

I am originally from the beautiful Hudson Valley in upstate NY. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Administration with minors in Accounting and English, as well as having completed a number of masters classes toward certification in Special Education.

My husband’s job brought us to VA 23 years ago. Living here in Sterling, my 3 children all attended and graduated from Loudoun County Public Schools. My daughter was even a Countryside Cougar and in 5th grade was the President of the Student Council as well as the winner of the Ruritan Award.

For me, my family always comes first, so when I am not with the wonderful children here at Countryside, my favorite thing to do is to spend time with my husband, grown children and “grandpets”. I am passionate about my garden, love reading, visiting new beaches, and watching performances by my son’s band.

Welcome everyone to another amazing new school year!
