Ms. Joy Kirk

Joy Kirk has enjoyed teaching for more than 20 years.  She earned her teaching degree and masters in Reading at East Stroudsburg Univerisity in Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Emerick, Ms. Kirk lived and taught in the Stroudsburg Area School District in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.  Her classroom experience includes Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 18 years in 6th grade, and two years as a technology coach. She loves to read books recommended by friends, enjoys running, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. Joy is thrilled to join the 5th-grade team at Emerick Elementary.
