Greetings MCCS Family!

I am very honored to serve as the Middleburg Community Charter School Principal for the 2019-2020 school year. I count it a true privilege to work alongside our amazing staff and you as parents in ensuring that your scholar receives the best education in Loudoun County. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and completed my undergraduate degree at Pensacola Christian College, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. In addition, I have also earned my Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. For the past thirteen years, I have worked in Washington D.C. where I first taught in multiple grade levels ranging from 4th-8th grade in the areas of History and Math. I was honored in 2010, as our schools' teacher of the year and Regional Teacher of the Year. More recently, I have served as a Vice-Principal and Interim Principal at Hope Community Charter School in Washington D.C. In 2016, our school was awarded the Imagine School of the Year; an award given to the highest-rated school in the Imagine Charter Network of over 60+ schools.

As an educator, I am an advocate for providing scholars with a school that challenges them academically and supports them emotionally. For me, character truly defines who an individual is, and it is my desire that MCCS is a school that models what true character looks like. Our students are known as scholars as everything that we do will be at the highest quality. We expect great things, because of who they are and the educational experience that they will receive. The Middleburg School has served the community for over 100 years, and it is our desire that MCCS will continue this partnership and train our scholars for success in the future. I look forward to an amazing year of academic excellence, positive relationships, and experiences that no other school can offer. If you should have any questions, feel free to reach out and I will be happy to assist.
