Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Beverly Bryant

Hello, Lions!  Mrs. Bryant is looking forward to her second year here at Cedar Lane! She has been teaching in Loudoun County for 20 years, both as a classroom teacher and a reading specialist.

Mrs. Bryant has a Bachelor of Science degree in education from George Mason University.  After teaching for a number of years and having her daughter, Caroline, Mrs. Bryant went back to school while teaching full time and earned a Masters degree from The University of Virginia (Go, Hoos!) and received a reading specialist endorsement.  She has taught in both private and public school settings in Maryland and Virginia.

In addition to reading, one of Mrs. Bryant's favorite things to do is spend time with her family.  She and her husband, David, enjoy hiking with their dog, Mila, and traveling.  Mrs. Bryant also enjoys visiting the Richmond area, where her daughter attends VCU. On many weekends during the winter months, Mrs. Bryant can be found on the ski slopes of Snowshoe, WV., perfecting her skiing abilities.

Mrs. Bryant is excited to share her enthusiasm for reading with all of the students at Cedar Lane!  She hopes students will chat with her about the books they are reading, so she can add their recommendations to her reading list!

Happy reading, Lions!
