Mrs. Ashley O'Bar

My name is Ashley O'Bar, and I am excited to be teaching for a third year at Rock Ridge High School. I am a Loudoun County native and a graduate of the Loudoun County Public Schools system. I hold a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees from Shenandoah University, and I completed my special education licensure requirements through George Mason University. Before returning to Loudoun County after completing my graduate studies, I spent two years working in Haiti teaching music to all ages, and I helped lay the groundwork for new music schools in the country. Prior to my time at Rock Ridge, I worked as a resource teacher for three years at Seldens Landing Elementary School in Leesburg. When I am not at school, I can be found behind a camera, creating artwork, or cooking delicious food. I am delighted to be a part of the Rock Ridge family, and I look forward to another fantastic year! Go Phoenix!
