Ms. Kaitlyn Gerber

Hello Everyone!

I have been at Potowmack Elementary School for 4 years and I am very excited to be working with our amazing students. I am a full-time school counselor and will be working with Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade students through individual counseling, classroom instruction, and small groups. I will be visiting each classroom, twice a month, to conduct a school counseling lesson based on Loudoun County Counseling guidelines, which includes developing social and academic skills, career exploration, and bullying prevention. All lessons are based on the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) National Model and will focus on the academic, career, and personal/social development of our students.
