Class!

Hi! My name is Dawn Marie Bracken, and I am thrilled to be a new member of the third grade team at Catoctin Elementary. This is my 8th year of teaching in Loudoun County. Before joining Catoctin, I worked at DTES in Ashburn for four years as a thrid grade teacer. Prior to becoming an elementary school teacher, I worked as a TA at Tuscarora High School in Leesburg, Virginia. I earned my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015 and my BA degree in Commerical Design.

I am married to my husband of 20yrs, Mike Bracken, and we have three children. My son AJ is a sixth grader and my son Tripp is a seventh grader at Smarts Mill Middle School. My daughter, Erin Marie, is a sophomore at Tuscarora High School. I absolutely love being a third grade teacher and am excited to become a member of the Cardinal family at Catoctin ES. I look forward to working as a team with you and your child and making this the best year yet!
