    Salvete, Omnes! Welcome to Latin with Magistra Hogye!
     
    A Central Virginia native, I hold a B.A. in English, a minor in Classics, and a Master of Teaching degree from the University of Virginia. I began teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools in 2002 and have worked in English, Latin, and reading intervention. While raising my own young children, I taught private and homeschool English literature seminars, writing workshops, and Latin I-IV/AP to students in grades 7-12. I am now in my fifteenth year of teaching and third year at Eagle Ridge. In my free time, I enjoy hobbies in music (piano, guitar, and vocal performance), photography, and graphic design.
