It’s my hope that each of my students will have an enjoyable experience leading to a lifelong appreciation of art. I’m a big fan of both traditional and digital art.

My two mottos are:

  • If you can’t make a mistake, then you can’t make anything!
  • If you’re not having fun, then you’re not doing it right!

Both of these hit the heart of art.  As we create, we learn from our mistakes. But we have fun while doing it.  No subject can do this like Art Class.

I’m originally from South Florida but have been a Loudoun County resident since 1999. I’ve been teaching art off and on since I graduated from college in 1993. And I love art so much that I even got a degree in it! A BFA in Painting and Drawing.

I’m married with one teen and two adult children. I have a fur baby, it is my dog, Levi. When I’m not spending time with my family and teaching art, you can find me painting, sewing, gardening, cooking, hiking and decorating.  Anything creative!
