Mrs. Barb Delgado

The 2023-24 school year will be Mrs. Delgado's 22nd year teaching. She has spent the last 15 years teaching 4th grade (it's her favorite grade),  but she has also taught kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders as well. This experience has enabled her to help children make connections to prior learning. This upcoming year will be her seventh year at Cedar Lane. As an Ashburn resident, one of her favorite parts of working at Cedar Lane is getting to live in the same community where her students and families live.  She earned her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University in 2022, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a concentration in Language Arts from Christopher Newport University in 1996. She has served as the school Math Contact, Teacher Mentor, Team Leader, and Collaborative Learning Team Leader.  Mrs. Delgado is passionate about helping students achieve their highest potential, and is very proud to be a member of the Cedar Lane community.
