Ms. DeWald is a Special Education Teacher at Buffalo Trails Elementary School. Ms. DeWald has been in the teaching field since 1991.  After growing up in New Jersey she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from East Carolina University in Greenville North Carolina.  Before marrying into the US Marine Corps, she taught for North Carolina Public Schools. She has lived and taught special eduction in four different states earning her Master's Degree in Special Education from George Mason University.   Ms. DeWald currenlty lives in Marshall VA with her husband and three teenage boys.
