Mr. Ed Bailey

It is my pleasure to be working here at Trailside MS as a Technology Assistant. This will be my fourth year working for Loudoun County Public Schools. Previously I was a Resource Teacher, Substitute Teacher and a long term TRT for Cedar Lane ES. Before this I was very lucky to be able to be a stay at home father for my two daughters beginning in 2002. Prior to the birth of my first daughter I worked in the Accounting Department at Chevy Chase Bank and was a Loan Officer for Central Fidelity Bank. I graduated from West Springfield High School in Fairfax and attended Northern Virginia Community College where I studied American History.

Since 2006 I have been coaching my daughter’s soccer teams for Loudoun Soccer. I am also a member on the board for the Ashburn Farm Barracudas Swim Team where I do all the grilling at every home meet during the summer season. Along with my wife Alison and two daughters Sara and Lauren we have three rescue dogs, two Guinea Pigs, and a fish. We love the beach and vacation in Oak Island NC every summer where you will find me fishing at every opportunity. I love Early American History and I am a huge Civil War Buff. I am a devoted sports fan and follow the Redskins, Nationals and Capitols whenever I can.
