Mr. Freeman

As hard as he tried, Zachary Freeman could not be Batman, so instead he received his M.S.Ed in Visual Arts Education Pre K - 12. As an Art Teacher, he has had the privilege of educating students through the visual arts since 2007. Zachary is a transplant from New York with his wife and two daughters, having moved to Culpepper in July 2018. In NY, he had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations of students including special education, foster care, emotionally disturbed, learning impaired, A.S.D., and dual diagnosis. Zachary believes that the visual arts are an amazing tool to help all students learn not only about art but about themselves and that there is always a place for the arts in one's life.

Zachary loves very little more than his family, although comic books and riding his bicycle are a close second place. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to bring his experience, skills, knowledge, and passion for learning through the visual arts to Madison's Trust Elementary
