Hello, and welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! Mr. Bender’s Art Studio. My name is Addison Bender and I will be your child’s artist teacher this school year.  I’ve completed two degrees, a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching, both degrees completed at George Mason University. I am excited to share my passion for the arts with your child, by creating meaningful artful problems. Your child will be using a variety of art materials, such as paint, pencil, crayon, ink, and clay, to create both two and three dimensional art works that reflect their own personal experiences.  I aim to boost self confidence within the art studio by allowing students to share with one another their personal journeys throughout the Art Making Process:)
