General Information

Rock Ridge Global Ambassadors is the club to join for students interested in international relations, global issues, and promoting cultural connections that transcend borders. Students can learn more about the club and obtain registration materials by speaking.  We will also have a table at the Club Expo during Rock Block on Thursday, October 5th.  Students are asked to register as club members in September so that we can begin planning activities for the year, including events connected with the 2020 Loudoun International Youth Leadership Summit (LIYLS) March 20th - 29th.  Rock Ridge Global Ambassadors will work with Global Ambassadors clubs at several other Loudoun County high schools to host international summit delegates from approximately twenty international schools representing nations from every corner of the globe. 

Meetings 

Regular meetings will take place during Rock Block - based on the Calendar in Google Classroom in room L400 (Mrs. Barbrow's room).  You will need to get a pass for meetings prior to the meeting day.

Hosting 

 We need students and their families to host our visiting delegates (both students and adult chaperones) for the entire duration of the summit.  Updated hosting information should be available by October so please look for announcements around that time and a live link to the hosting application on this page.
