    A little about Mrs. Middleton. . .
     
     
    This will be Mrs. Middleton's twenty-fourth year at Catoctin Elementary.  After 23 years as a first grade teacher, she is on to a new adventure . . . KINDERGARTEN!  She is extremely excited to be sharing her love of literacy and learning with her new students!   She grew up in Herndon but now resides with her family in Leesburg.   Mrs. Middleton has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech.  She also completed her certification as a reading specialist at Shenandoah University.  Mrs. Middleton is a huge Hokie fan!  Mrs. Middleton enjoys traveling, reading on the beach, and spending time with her husband, children, friends and family.
