Hello, my name is Catherine DeCata and I am excited to begin my second year at Forest Grove. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Reading.

I am certified in Early Childhood /Elementary Education, ESOL and as a Reading Specialist. I have worked with all grade levels from pre-k thru fifth grade. This is my twenty-third year of teaching. 

My husband and I live on  7 acres in Aldie that was once part of President James Monroe's estate. We have dogs, cats, chickens, bees, and fruit and vegetable gardens.
