Ms. Meredith Murray

Welcome to Ms. Murray’s Homepage!

I am so excited for my eighth year in Kindergarten and tenth year with Potowmack!  I have been with Potowmack for my entire teaching career and taught 5th grade for two years.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from James Madison University and continued to complete my Master of Arts in Teaching at JMU as well!  Go Dukes! 

I was born and raised in North Carolina and moved to the Northern VA area nine years ago to begin teaching.  I have enjoyed exploring the area and making this my home.  Although away from North Carolina, I will always stick to my roots by faithfully cheering for the Carolina Panthers!  In addition to this, when I’m not in school I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and crafting!

I am looking forward to a great year in Kindergarten!
