This year, I am honored and pleased to serve the Trailside Middle School 'Timber Wolves' community as 8th Grade House Secretary. I earned a B.A. degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware and a Teaching License from West Chester University. I taught middle school science in the Brandywine School District in Delaware, before our family moved to Leesburg, Virginia.  Though we’ve lived here in Virginia for 19 years, as originally we’re from the suburbs of Philadelphia, I continue to root tirelessly for Philadelphia's Sports Teams - namely the Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles.

I am excited to be working as the 7th Grade House Secretary in my sixth year at Trailside.  I'm looking forward to continuing with the students that were new to Trailside last year.  Before becoming a school secretary, I spent the previous 18 years working for a marketing company as an Account Manager.

I am originally from Glen Burnie, MD and attended the University of Maryland at College Park, where I received my degree in Marketing.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and two children, and playing with our dogs Dozer (a Shepherd mix) and Maggie (a Mastiff). I’m looking forward to another great year at Trailside.

I am excited to start my sixth year at Trailside as the new Sixth Grade House Secretary. I am happy to have the chance to work with the amazing Sixth Grade Team and all the students joining the Timberwolf Pack!

I earned a B.A. Degree in Psychology and worked for SAIC in San Diego as a Human Resources Administrator until our careers brought my husband and I to Northern Virginia in 1996. We have two children, our son is a Sophomore at Indiana University (Go Hoosiers) and our daughter is a Junior at Stone Bridge (Go Bulldogs)!  In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering in our community, vacationing with my family, dancing, reading and even on occasions baking for my family.

I look forward to getting to know all the sixth graders and help them as they start their journey through middle school. Trailside is a wonderful school, and I am certain your students will enjoy being a Timberwolf!

I am so excited to embark on our fifth year here at Trailside Middle School. I have worked for Loudoun County Schools for 11 years, starting my career as the bookkeeper at Smart’s Mill Middle School and later the bookkeeper of Eagle Ridge Middle School. Now, I am a proud member of the Pack at Trailside Middle School.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, puzzles of all kinds, paddle boarding and hanging out at the lake with my family and friends.

I am so excited to get year five underway here at Trailside!  We have registered so many wonderful new students over the summer, and I am eager to see all of the faces both returning and new.  You will find me every day in the main office where I oversee Attendance and Registration.  Please be sure to stop in and say Hello.  In my free time, I am mother to four boys, aged 24, 22, 19 and 18 (whew!) and a beautiful dog named Lilly (we don't discuss her age :-)  You will see us out and about in Ashburn and neighboring areas attending sporting events and walking the dog.

I’m looking forward to my fifth year at Trailside as a secretary in the main office.  It’s going to be so enjoyable to see the familiar faces of parents and students and to welcome new Timber Wolves and their families to the school.  Before coming to Trailside, I worked at a pediatric office in Ashburn as a staff RN for 5 years.  Prior to that I was a long term substitute in the Loudoun County Public Schools and made the decision to come back to the school system when Trailside opened.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ball State University in Indiana and then worked for several years at a hospital in Indianapolis until we relocated to the east coast.  I was then blessed to be able to stay home and raise our 3 sons and 1 daughter until our last one started school in Loudoun County, at which time I started substituting.

In my free time I enjoy running, walking our dogs, fostering dogs, making trips to Lake Monticello to relax, swim and water ski, and spending time with family and friends.
