Mrs. Bridget Beichler
As I begin my 26th year with Loudoun County Public Schools and my eleventh year as principal of Trailside Middle School, I cannot help but to reflect on this incredible journey in education. I believe that teaching and leading children through these most formative years is the most important role beyond parenting there is in life. Each day I awake to seek opportunities to leave lasting footprints upon our students and teachers in order to make a meaningful impact. As we begin year 10, our focus and commitment to our Timber Wolf Pack will be focused on making a difference in our lives.
My educational background includes being an undergraduate in Elementary Education from Penn State University-“WE ARE!” I received a Masters of Education in Leadership and Supervision from Shenandoah University. I have experience at both the elementary and middle school level, but continue to count my experience as a mother of three adult children and grandmother as my most valuable asset in the role of principal. My one and constant goal in education has been to be an advocate for children and to always make decisions based on what is best for kids. This is my pledge to all of my current and future children at Trailside Middle School.
My family moved to Loudoun County over twenty-five years ago from Altoona, PA. My husband Kevin and I are the proud parents of three children; Ian, Heather, and Amber. Ian is a fourth grade teacher at Balls Bluff Elementary and married to Alexa Beichler, who is also a special education teacher. They are the proud parents of Carson (5) and Taylor (3) and Jax (2 in November). Heather is the ELL Supervisor for LCPS Elementary schools. Heather and her husband Mike have a daughter, Amelia (5) and Alexander (3). Our youngest child, Amber, works in the Environmental Science field for BSI. On a personal note, I enjoy hanging out with our Golden doodle puppy, Finnegan and Labradoodle Maeve, hiking with my husband, photography, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. Kevin and I enjoy traveling and have found our happy place in Ireland and New Hampshire. Our family are big sports enthusiasts; from football to soccer and everything in between. I was weaned on Notre Dame Football and cheer on both the Irish and Penn State each week. I am one of seven children and to this day credit my parents with the legacy they have instilled in each one of us to always make decisions based on compassion, fairness, and humility.
As I begin my 26th year in LCPS, I continue to dedicate myself to always leading our staff in doing what is best for kids. Welcome to the School Year 2022-2023.
