    Ms. Michelle Haseltine
As I begin my eighth year at Eagle Ridge, I am filled with excitement and anticipation. This is my twenty-second year teaching. Previously I taught fifth graders at Algonkian Elementary in Sterling for eight years, and before that I taught third and fourth graders in Massachusetts.
Boston College is my alma mater and there I majored in English. Immediately after graduation, I moved to South Orange, NJ to get my master's degree in Education at Seton Hall University. Currently, I am a Teacher Consultant with the Northern Virginia Writing Project. Being a part of this organization inspires my teaching and practice of writing.

Please feel free to contact me via email for any reason. Together we will make this a year to remember!
You can find information and updates about our class  on our class Facebook page, Ms. Haseltine's Class. We have a class twitter account. Our username is @haseltineclass. You can also find updates  on Instagram. My name there is mhaselti.  We will be blogging together this year! Our class blog is called Crayons and Pencils.
I know this is going to be the best year ever! Remember, YOU MATTER!
