Allow me to introduce myself- My name is Catie Woahn and I am pleased to work with you as the new school psychologist here at Algonkian!
About Me: I originally hail from Salt Lake City, Utah and am in my second year working with Loudoun County Public Schools. When not in the thick of all things school psychology, I enjoy cooking, eating ethnic foods, traveling, and creating art and music.
My Mission: Though I will be floating around several different schools in this cluster, I plan on jumping in full-force in getting to serve you and the students here. I have particular interest/experience in expressive therapies and grief-related counseling, and enjoy liaison work between school and community. Along with the child study and eligibility processes, I will be participating in PBIS initiatives, individual/group counseling, behavioral/academic interventions, and anything else that will help all involved in our school community to be as happy and successful as possible.
Please feel free to say hi or contact me any time that I can be of service to you!
