Matthew Poth

Mr. Poth was born and raised outside Philadelphia PA.  After high school, he joined the Marine Corps as an infantry machine gunner. After two combat tours in Iraq he attended Penn State University.  There, Mr. Poth majored in Secondary Education and History with a minor in Geography.  While teaching at Park View, Mr. Poth earned a masters degree in School Administration from Shenandoah University and is a National Board Certified Teacher.  Mr. Poth is also the Cross Country coach and this is his tenth year at Park View.
