My name is Stacey Hagenlock and I am THRILLED  to be your child’s teacher. I can't wait for our exciting and fun filled year in kindergarten together!
This is my tenth year at Legacy and my thirteenth year in Loudoun County schools.  I am excited to get to know all of the new faces while spending the year learning together. This will be my 19th year as a teacher.I received my BS in history and my teaching degree at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I currently continue to further my own education through a variety of classes. During my career I have also taught full day kindergarten and third grade in Fairfax,  preschool in Loudoun and first grade in Loudoun County.
I am the Mom of 3 boys who spends her free time out on the sports fields watching the boys play lacrosse, and run cross country. Nicholas is a sophmore at JMU this year (Go Dukes!), William is a senior, and Michael will be starting his junior year. This year will make 3 different schools for our family with William at Rock Ridge and Michael at Independence! All 3 boys are proud Legacy alumnae! Mr. Hagenlock and I enjoy time on the sports fields, the beach and traveling when we have time.
I look forward to teaching my students something new each day and value those fresh daily lessons that they teach me. I am excited for the growth that our class will make individually and together over this school year. We look forward to a joyful year full of new adventures and FUN!
Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions and concerns. Thank you in advance for your involvement, support and interest this school year.

    About Mrs. Toms

Hi, I am Amy Toms and I am so excited to be your child’s Kindergarten Assistant. I have worked at Legacy for 11 years as an assistant teacher in Special Needs and Kindergarten. I substituted at Legacy for 2 years prior to that, and taught preschool for 4 years also. I love seeing the excitement of new learning on all the little kiddos faces.

I live in White Post, VA with my husband and 2 wild kitties. We enjoy gardening in our yard. and hiking the beautiful land around us. We have 2 daughters, Katelyn is 23 and graduated from Virginia Tech. She is living in Ohio and working on historical digitization. Emma is 21 and studies English and Business at George Mason. She also is the best barista at Blend

I am so excited to help inspire a love of learning as we kick off the adventure of education this year!
