Eagle Ridge Moves on to MATHCOUNTS State Competition



Eagle Ridge Middle School will represent Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) at the Virginia MATHCOUNTS competition on March 17th in Richmond. 
 
MATHCOUNTS is a national enrichment, club and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement through grassroots involvement in every U.S. state and territory.

Eagle Ridge placed first in a regional competition on February 4th with Stone Hill Middle School placing second and Harper Park Middle School third.

Members of the Eagle Ridge MATHCOUNTS team are:

The Eagle Ridge MATHCOUNTS team is coached by parentYongqing Lu. Nikole Mullen, the school’s math subject area lead teacher (SALT) is the MATHCOUNTS sponsor.

The MATHCOUNTS Foundation is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1984 to promote math excellence among U.S. middle school students. The Foundation's headquarters are located in Alexandria.
