Application Instructions

3.    _____ Make arrangements to take the Nurse Entrance Test (TEAS Test) at Monroe Technology Center. 

4.    _____ Request your high school official transcript and have it sent to the Director of Nursing at Monroe Technology Center. You may also request official college transcripts to be sent. International students please have your transcripts evaluated by an outside company.

5.    _____ Give reference forms to three individuals that know you professionally, such as teachers or employers. The completed references must be mailed by your reference in a sealed envelope to Monroe Technology Center, c/o Director, Nursing Department. They may not be  faxed. Please do not use relatives or friends as references. High school students must have at least one teacher or counselor as a reference.

6.    ______Note that nursing classes in the first year of the program follow the high school alternate-day block schedule. Adult applicants please note that class will be held every other day and that these days change on a weekly basis. Please consult LCPS information on alternating block schedule policies.
