About Mrs. Stratuik

Mrs. Stratuik is beginning her seventh year teaching at Catoctin Elementary School.  She taught 4th grade for six of those years, and is very much looking forward to teaching 2nd grade this year.  She attended the College of New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology.  The opportunity to work with the students at Catoctin tempted this New Jersey native to embark on a new adventure.  She is enjoying this exciting experience and feels fortunate to be a part of the Catoctin family.

Mrs. Stratuik earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Integrating Technology in Schools, from George Mason University in 2012.  Mrs. Stratuik loves to travel, meet new people, and learn new things.  These days, her traveling consists mostly of weekend trips to New Jersey to visit her family.  Some of Mrs. Stratuik's favorite things include spending time with her husband, Mr. Stratuik, and her son, Chase.

Our class created Native American projects to display what they learned.
