  1. Please make sure you check the lost and found before Tuesday.  Anything left Tuesday afternoon will be donated. 
  2. Amazing showing by Briar Woods DECA this weekend at the District Leadership Conference.  We had 28 students compete and 15 of those students placed top 3 overall to advance to the State Leadership Conference in March.

  1. Thank you to all of the students who competed on Saturday and to the teachers who helped out as volunteers!
  2. Students who signed up for tomorrow’s Monroe Shadowing Day should report to class tomorrow morning for attendance.  We will make an announcement after the moment of silence and pledge  for you to report to the front foyer.
  3. All are invited to the Briar Woods Fall Jazz Band Concert, which will take place tonight at 7pm in the Briar Woods Auditorium.
  4. The concert will feature our two award winning jazz bands playing a mix of jazz, funk, soul and rock music. Come out and enjoy and an evening of jazz with these great musicians.
  5. The Future Health Professionals are holding a bake sale in the front foyer after school today. Be sure to stop by for some yummy goodies!
  6. A reminder to all Science National Honor Society members: Forms and Dues must be turned into Mr. Buchanan by Tuesday, November 24.
  7. Attention National Art Honor Society members- remember to turn in your artwork for the nursing home before Thanksgiving Break.
  8.  "Come out and support your Briar Woods PEER program by eating at Chipotle Tonight  from 5-8:30pm. Remember to say that you are there for Briar Woods PEER." 
  9. The Briar Woods literary magazine, the Talon, will be hosting a "poetry" reading night tonight  at 7:30pm in the library. Come to see students share poetry, stories, and even singing and rapping! Baked goods will also be sold. If you are interested in sharing anything, email, or see Mr. Legg or editor and chief Sasha
  10. Do you like Super Smash Bros!!! If you do then prepare yourself for TSA's Super Smash Bros 4 Tournament. TSA will be hosting the tournament on Friday December 4th in rooms L604 and L605. You must pre-register to attend. Registration fees are Five dollars and must be turned in with your registration form outside of lunch. Registration will be from November 20th to December 1st.
