conference this past weekend, they were awarded an Honor Chapter as well as the
5th Most Outstanding Chapter in the state of Virginia. The following students

Student Literacy Council book drive continues until the end of April. Now's your chance to unload those gently-used
books to be donated to Books for America.
Place any books you'd like to donate in the yellow boxes outside the
office, in the hallways, or outside the library. Thanks for your support!
- The Key Club will be sponsoring an
Inova blood drive this Thursday in the aux gym. Today is the last day to
register to donate blood. You may register at the table outside of the
cafeteria during any of the lunch shifts today. Every student who
will be donating blood on Thursday will need to bring a photo ID and a signed
consent form. Extra copies of the consent form will be available today at
the registration table outside of the cafeteria.
- The 9th Annual BWHS Dinner and a Show
event, Cabaret Night, will be held this Friday night in the cafeteria!
Come and enjoy a three course pasta meal while being entertained by some
of Briar Woods most talented! Tickets are sold at the door and are $15.00
for adults, $10.00 for students.
- Loudoun County School's television
station will be filming this Thursday's Improv Show! Catch BWHS's very
own Improv Troupe - Those Guys at 7pm this Thursday! The show is audience
interactive, so be prepared to be on camera! Tickets are just $5.00 and
sold at the door!
will also be a BWHS Drama fundraiser at PotBelly this Thursday after
school! Grab dinner at Potbelly then come out to the Improv Show!
Interact Club Members: There will be a full club meeting tomorrow morning at
8:30am in room 407. We will be meeting with Ms. Jones from the Dulles Food
Pantry, so please be sure to attend.
- Do you
want to win a $50 GameStop gift card? The Technology Student Association will
be holding a Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament on Thursday April 23rd after
school. Entry tickets are just $5 and can be purchased during all lunch shifts
this week and next week. NO tickets will be sold at the door.
- Attentions TSA members there will be a mandatory
meeting this Wednesday April 15th immediately after school. The
meeting should last approximately 45 min.
- Come support the girls soccer tomorrow night for
a team fundraiser at Rubinos from 4-9pm. The team will get a percent of each
sale. Be sure to mention girls soccer when ordering.
