  • Briar Woods 2015 Midnight Masquerade Prom tickets will be on sale beginning Tuesday April 7th (right AFTER spring break) through Thursday April 9th during all lunch shifts.  Permission forms are available online on the Junior Class Activities page and in the main office. Tickets are $60 and all sales are final!  
  • Six students from Briar Woods who auditioned for PAVAN Governor's School for the Arts were accepted into our rigorous 2-week summer program! Acceptance into PAVAN is very competitive and based on merit only. For Guitar - Vienna Gastrock; Theater - Eva Linder; Voice - Sarah Walter; Visual Arts - Alexandra Preston, Helen Miller and Meredith Ettrich.  Congratulations to these students.
  • Do you text and drive? Does anyone you know text and drive? The Interact Club will be hosting the Red Thumb Initiative. Stop by our table at lunch today through Friday to sign a pledge, get a ring, and a sign to hang in your car reminding you not to text and drive. ​
  • The Hispanic Student Alliance is collecting food donations for Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Please drop off all your donations in the boxes in front of the main office and in front of L-209. All your donations will be greatly appreciated!
  • Attention all current Juniors!  If you are planning to take Teacher Cadet next year, you need to see Ms. Breinig in room L500 before you leave for spring break!  If you cannot locate her before Friday, there will be extra copies available in guidance.  Please be sure to collect this paperwork before leaving for the break.  It is time sensitive.
  • All French AP students who were scheduled to take their last quarter test ANY BLOCK TODAY OR TOMORROW MUST see Mrs. Magurn about this TODAY. The following students are:

We now have purses, shoes and brand new BLING!  Irene’s Prom Closet will be giving away FREE make up sessions and 2 FREE digital professional photo sessions among those who participate.
