Congratulations to the Golf Team who qualified again for the Region Tournament. The team came in 2nd in the Conference 14 tournament yesterday with a total score of 301. Low scorers were Joe Corlett and Ryan Frick who both shot a 73, Clay Rosales with a 76, and Matt Keilholtz with a 79.
Homecoming voting has been extended until 3:48 today. If you have not voted, please do so today. Homecoming court will be announced tomorrow.
Tickets for homecoming 2014 go on sale on September 22 during all lunches through D lunch on Friday, September 26. Tickets are $25.00 each. No tickets will be sold after D lunch on Friday. No tickets will be sold at the door. The dance is Saturday September 27. You won’t want to miss this epic homecoming! If you want to be involved in homecoming hall decorating, please see your class representatives. Hall decorating will take place on September 25 after school. The parade will wind through the Brambleton Town center starting at 5 pm on Friday, September 16 followed by kickoff at 7 pm.
Attention all 10th and 11th grade students: Do you enjoy science and technology? Do you dream of being a doctor, biologist or veterinarian; or want to work for NASA or as a marine biologist? Perhaps you enjoy social sciences or the humanities, music, dance, theater, or art. If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, the Virginia Governor’s School may be for you. A Loudoun County School’s gifted teacher will be in the Career Center on Wednesday, September 24th during all lunch shifts to answer your questions about Governor’s School.
The TSA meeting scheduled for today has been cancelled. There will be a Mandatory TSA meeting NEXT Thursday in room L605. Officer Candidates will present their presentations to the members. Be on Time.
The Theater Tech interest meeting will be on Monday, Sept. 22nd, immediately after school in room 802 - the Black Box. If you are interested in doing anything in tech, you must attend the meeting and bring the completed form with you. The form can be found under Staff/Gilligan.
