Welcome!

I am presently teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry for the 2012-2013 school year. I have a background of teaching for 26 years, with my teaching degree in pre-k through 12th grade, specializing in math for grades 7th- 12th . I have 2 children, one in college and one that has graduated college and was married last year, I am married, and we have three cats(sugar, puma, midnite). I have been in Loudoun county for 10 years, and I am originally from NY. I am sure that we can work together with your child to make this years' math experience a positive experience.

The books that we are using this year are Algebra 1 McDougall Littell, and Geometry McDougall Littell. All of these students will take the SOL in their area of study in May. These are High School courses. Since we have access to an online book, the students can access the book through their home computer. I am looking forward to an enjoyable year with your child !
